Nick Noceti, CPA

Seal Beach Incorporations

Nick Noceti was born and raised in California and has been an active certified public accountant since 2010. He attended California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a minor in Investments in 1997. After obtaining an accounting position with a pediatric wheelchair company, he went back to attend night classes at California State University of Long Beach earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration in 2002. During that same year, Nick successfully passed all four parts of the Uniform CPA examination.

He began his public accounting career at a Kushner, Smith, Joanou and Gregson (KSJG), a small local firm in Irvine, as a member of its audit staff in 2003. At KSJG he gained valuable experience auditing private companies in the service, retail not for profit and manufacturing industries. He also performed 401(k) plan audits, agreed upon procedure engagements and reviews during his tenure at KSJG. In 2005, he accepted a position with BDO Seidman, a large regional CPA firm, to gain public company audit experience mainly in the manufacturing and service industries. His time spent with BDO Seidman was during the initial implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley arising from the Enron scandal that made understanding a Company’s internal control environment imperative. Nick acquired extensive experience working with the internal audit personnel of public and private companies in testing their internal controls and identifying any deficiencies or material weaknesses. In 2007, due to extensive travel requirements while at BDO Seidman, he was hired again by KSJG where he worked until 2009 as an Audit Senior.

After cost cutting decisions were made at KSJG due to a loss in business because of the recession, Nick ventured into the field of public accounting in 2010 as a sole proprietor working in the accounting departments of Ruby’s Restaurant Group in Irvine and a large real estate firm, MIG Real Estate in Newport Beach. Over the next several years, he prepared tax returns for corporations and individuals and performed the role of Controller, then Chief Financial Officer, of a biotech public company. In this position, Nick prepared the Company’s financial statements and worked with its auditors and attorneys on a quarterly basis to ensure their timely filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He then oversaw the Company’s successful reverse merger and acquisition with SobrSafe. He was also the Controller of Biomerica, a biotechnology pubic company, preparing financial statements and working with its auditors and attorneys on a quarterly basis to ensure their timely filing with the SEC. In 2022, Nick took a position with Lenning & Company to become its full-time Audit Manager. In November 2024, he agreed to purchase their audit practice and founded Noceti and Associates, Inc.
